Since 2008, at the inaugural 9/11 Heroes Run event in Doylestown, PA, runners, walkers and ruckers have come together to honor and support our nation’s first responders who selflessly sacrificed on September 11th and service members who have served in the wars since.  Since the first race, they’ve expanded to races in over 90 communities worldwide, uniting 60,000 people each year. Named after 1stLt Travis Manion, USMC, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the Al Anbar province of Iraq on April 29th, 2007, the Foundation is committed to honoring our nation’s fallen heroes.

HL Denver started the Denver 9/11 Heroes Run in 2018 as a way to activate and unite the community and empower local veterans, active duty, first responders, and families of the fallen. Each year, HL Denver employees volunteer for this incredible cause.  From directing the race, soliciting sponsors, meeting with community members, to stuffing race day packets and cheering on the athletes, the HL team is rooted into the Heroes Run.  Now in our 5th year, this race has grown from a small event to a Denver area staple on September 11th.  

Please support us in our endeavor by making a donation!  Your donation will help the Travis Manion Foundation–a military support organization that empowers our nation’s veterans and families of the fallen to develop character in future generations.  Even a small donation will help us to achieve our goal!  And with Hamilton Lane’s Matching Gifts program, any employee donation will be matched up to $500.
